Theosophical Articles on Karma

Karma, a Sanskrit word meaning ‘action’ or ‘doing’. Difficult though it may be to understand or accept but there is no such thing as good or bad karma when viewed from the higher constitution of our Being. We are always creating karma because we are always making or creating action whether that be physical, emotional or mental.

Karma is one of the fundamental teachings of Theosophy and needs to be studied alongside its twin teaching of Reincarnation. Although the term karma has now found a permanent home in the English language and the mind of the day its real meaning still suffers from misunderstanding.
